What is Technology Law?

The rise of the use of technology over years has been reaching very advanced stages such that we are at a point where there seems to be an overlap between technology and the law. More often than not the technology is developed, tested and then rolled out into the public. When this happens that is when a lot of legal questions often arise. 

A perfect example of this would be the development of Open Technology AI technology and the development of popular ChatGPT.

What is technology law?

Technology law is the law that governs the development, use of technology and how it affects the end user .  According to Patil technology law aspects include among others hardware, the internet, computer software and telecommunications.
