Marketing and Communications Internship

Legal Dialog is a legal education startup on a mission to make the law easy and accessible for young people in Botswana. We’re demystifying legal concepts, sparking open conversations, and empowering individuals to confidently navigate legal matters.

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team. In this role, you’ll contribute to a range of exciting initiatives—from creative campaigns and event execution to brand positioning, digital content creation, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute online and offline marketing campaigns.
• Create and schedule engaging content across all social media platforms.
• Support internal and external marketing initiatives and events.
• Develop and distribute marketing and PR materials.
• Track performance of campaigns, leads, and client engagement.
• Maintain and update client databases and feedback records.
• Assist with digital marketing, online publications, and website content.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports.
• Support team administrative needs and proposal coordination.
• Help manage digital assets and brand templates.

Experience and Skills Required

• Graduate Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience with Adobe Suite, Canva, Adobe Express, CRM/database systems.
• Certifications in digital marketing, PR, or design are an added advantage.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• A team player with a growth mindset.
